for everyone
Start:     Sep 22, '07 08:00a
Location:     Husbands Bosworth
Last year Jack and Gregg did this and it was a top day out, well organised by the wobbly wheelers, so how about challenging yourself to do the ton in a day.

I fancy that - are tea & cake stops essential obligatory? Any idea of the route?

we made it a rule to stop at every bun stop/checkpoint which included 2 pubs open specially for us and one cafe. Last year it went south of harboro, through valley all way to rutland water and back round tilton on hill area.

I would be up for it,is it for any cat level or three and 3/4 like some body we know?

No need to be bitter - you just need to go and see Mr Ward with an envelope stuffed full of crisp tenners.

Alternatively, ride really crap for January-May and then dramatically improve in June ;o)

Nothing for it but to put myself forward too, after 60 miles in the peaks anythings possible, isn't it?

Don't worry - if you blow up, at least you won't be on your own!

Right then guys I've pre-entered so I have the route (can send anyone tracklogs file later if you want it)
Start is at 8am at husbands bosworth then goes South down to stanford then west haddon as south most point. Then draw almost straight line through Rocko clubhouse, then carry on towards East side of Rutland water thro the Valley. Round the top of Rutland water then across to Tilton on th ehill then back down thro harboro to the start point.

Checkpoints/stops include two pubs and two shops, and one garden centre with nice cafe. You can pre-order rolls to be waiting for you at two of the stops.

You can sign on on the day (costs £7.50) aaabut get there for 7.30 to ensure you start at 8. NOTE, start time is not mandatory, me and gregg started at 10am last year and they frowned at us, but we still were one of the first back.

So who is still up for it then, Nige, Gray, Smiffy ??? Its open to every one. Brownie and Troy were staying suprising quite about it on Tuesday. Great D2D Training.
