for everyone
Start:     Sep 30, '07
Location:     cottesbrooke, northants
Fancy a local 4 hour trailquest ???
see here http://www.midlandtrailquests.co.uk/

An event has now been taken over by the CATS Mountain Bike Club.

As a result the event, the penultimate round of the summer series, will now take place in Northamptonshire,
This area features expansive, rolling countryside with plenty of off-road trails including a disused railway line. we can expect a highly challenging course.

Don't forget I have formulated a foolproof plan. Get more check points, and fewer penalties!!

Suggested to dave and Troy that they incorporate a ride in that area on Sunday to check out the local trails beforehand.....I can sort a route out. Would be nice to know which ploughed fields to avoid ;-)
Anyone else interested

You can't be good at everything! Besides, you had me to drag round.
numplumz wrote on Oct 1, '07
worked out last night that I did nearly 5 miles of headless chicken bad route choice, it looks so obvious sitting on the sofa at home. So for the same mileage that I actually did and not messing up i could get another 50 points, and not ferking up on the 25 points that i did, 460 was possible easily.
ummm - might do the winter Trailquest series, if I can convince my body to get out of bed.

Its taken me all day to work out what you ment about "I can't do stairs", I feel like that a lot, especially on tuesdays. I think i'll be sleeping on the couch this sunday night as my legs will not want to go up stairs after d2d
graham2 wrote on Oct 1, '07
You may not even make it home! Cross the finish line and crash asleep in the van.
troytheboy wrote on Oct 1, '07
if I can do 9pm til 7am and do a lap all with alcohol and without sleep i'm hopeing i should be able to drive home after d2d but you never know!!!
