Kimbolton Go-Kart track

The Rocko are looking for a regular venue to hold road racing, this looks an ace location and its just been resurfaced.

Does anyone know anyone involved with the circuit in any way, or even any other places with private roads like illford etc. Theres cash init for the landowner.

The Rocko Speedway are just useless and it will never happen there

200 miles - no worries

Double Century, another tick off the list.

Friday our team of riders, Me, Rich, Seb, Jon(shergy), & Dom, along with Minibus driver Paul with part time riders/helpers Paul2 and Tim made the long slow drive from cardiff to Bangor (boy that took ages)
Then after monster carbo loading and a few relaxing guiness's we tried to get nowhere near enough Travelodge sleep for a 5am wake up.

Saturday and luckily the rain had gone, leaving a cool start and a drive to our start point, the North Coast of Anglessey at Cemaes beach. It was fnally 6.30 before the inevitable mountainbiker style faffing was over and we finally hit the road, straight into a considerable SW headwind. At times 12mph on the flat was hard to maintain, this was looking like an even more epic day than we had imagined and pretty soon we had to establish a routine of sharing the wind effort chaingang style.

The guys in the minibus drove off ahead of us to set up food and drink stops every 2 hrs, and we w...

Matt Barrett was a close second in Masters while Vic Barnett got second too in Grand vets, and both did the v.hard Handicap race on Sat to boot.

What more proof do you need that FNSS breds some good mtb racers, and is a series worth winning.

Me well I wobbled round and didnt quite match up to their finishes with a 5th, loved the course though, pretty technical with some tough climbs and some ace jumps, one of them a real flyer. fun racing again.

RESULTS

Should be some good photos around tomorrow from Joolz.

and here http://www.robcrayton.fotopic.net/c1484739.html

well two of them cruz'ed, well more slithered over there. (I know sic)

Its been long known that you can get into Santa Pod for free, they cant, and dont seem to want to stop you. Known but not tested untill today.
The Cruz twins BigRing and me played on some firm yet slimy tracks on our way over there from Stanwick lakes before hitting Northants version of the Somme, the three shires way. (its no wonder anyone who lives in this area thinks there is no decent trails in Northants).

A small battle of balance and line choice later we roll straight into the pits of the Auto Trader Easter Thunderball meeting, and its pretty busy and active with plenty of food and drink and a funfair.
