And you give some cash to Charity.

On the 26th April me and 7 other (lots have wimped out) mountainbikers will be leaving Anglesey In Wales and and going for a little bike ride. Later that same day we'll be rolling into Cardiff having gone the scenic route through the Snowdonia national park and the over the Brecons, about 220 miles worth.

Now having done the C2C off road in 6 days, theres no doubt 220 on road is going to be tough in a day, at least 15 hrs at pace.

As its such an epic undertaking, it might as well be usefull too, so we are asking for charity donations in support of us. There's a donation website setup here

http://www.justgiving.com/walesairambulanceroadride

Please support us and a valuable service (that hopefully you will never need)

Hit the sponsor me now button, leave yourself a few minutes to fill out the forms and please make sure you answer the question about gift aid and give your correct name (you can leave it annoymous on the website name part or use nickname that appears on website). This is essential as then gift aid from the taxman will cover web admin charges.

If you dont want to do this on-line then please donate some cash direct to me.

Thank You.

Have I misunderstood this or are you really going to ride 220 miles through Wales in one day?

That's the plan.

Last Easter, one of the lads on this ride was rescued off the Penmachno trial by the WAA. He stacked it on a fast section and broke sum ribs, collapsed a lung and generally bust himself up pretty badly. As fate would have it, that turned out to be one of the luckiest crashes ever. The hospital scans revealed a growth on his good lung the size of a 2L coke bottle.

That was a year ago, and like all good stories - he's made a great recovery and will be on the C2C ride with us. Everyone on the trip has ridden a fair bit but its still a huge ride but for a good cause that's close to all of us on the ride.

Now as you have had time to get over the shock of me actually attempting to ride 220 miles in a day, its time to dig your hands in your pockets and give some support to the Welsh air ambulance, hey some of you guys were close to needing them last weekend ;-)

Shocking lack of plumz activity on that sponsor page.
