for everyone

First get your head round this, Those last two peaks at the near 100 mile point are just bonkers. Pretty much they poured tarmac down a mountain and called it a road.

I'm not exagerating by saying they are as steep as riding up the stairs in your house, and in places almost as bumpy.

Now add in 23 degrees of blazing sun and its one serious bike ride. Me and Gregg completed it in 7hrs15 and scoffed lots of cakes, We had a great day particularly on the descents, at one stage even overtaking and gapping a motorcycle at 48mph down Kirkstone, wahoo!

Scott from Rocko was there too, first feedstop between the killer climbs of Honister and Newlands, why didnt anyone tell us about those..ouch.

Gregg tops Hardknott (notice I had time to stop and get my phone out for a pic)

The route, a full on tour of the lakes.Start is from Coniston going clockwise, av it.
