which way did you ride the high street guys?? did ya start off going up the steep end (south) and finish on the cool descent at the north end?? i loved that section along ulleswater, the bit where its real close to the lake with all the rocks and blooming walkers! haha

up the steep south end, no way thats one monster push. We started North end at pooley bridge (great cooked breakfast there) then up the slow gradual climb from there, we were on singlespeeds dont forget.

Didnt do full length but turned Right at highest point, almost a T junction on the trail and its that mega descent in one of the other pictures to drop you straight down to patterdale and the South end of the Ullswater lake. Then quick tea and cake stop at the farm/campsite and then the brilliant Ullswater lakeside trial, probaly one of my favourite trails in the whole of England.
