I've never snapped a Sram chain, quality kit. Even a completely shot one still got me round 30 miles of severe cann0ck grit grinding.....only just though.
This is exactly how it looked on getting home, how did that survive up the last few climbs, glad it did though.
Said i had brakes left, well only just but theres still some pad material there.
