This boy just can't get enough miles in at the moment what with Transalp and MegaAvalanche and now a solo 24 hrs. How did he do, weel As he's probably incapable of rational thought still I'll pass on his message.

Ever wondered what might happen if you try to solo a 24 hr race ?  Don't, I can save you wondering.  It will break your body!

It was Sleepless in the Saddle this weekend at Catton Park and I thought I'd have a crack at solo racing.  9th 24 I've raced, first time without a team.

24:20 minutes race time, with just under 50 mins of time not actualy riding.  230 miles, 30 laps put me in 4th place, 10 mins off P3 and about 20 off P2.  For about three hours I lead the race which was pretty nuts.  The eventual winner passed me on the track and the other two must have come by while I was eating.

Three days later, I still can't walk properly, my mind is screwed and everywhere hurts lots.
