Proposed ride over to Grafham water by Jack and Troy.
Leisurely romp (we will be Singlespeeding) which is almost all off road to the Coffee and Bun stop by the cafe to admire the sights of hopefully a warm summers day.
Good chance to see some of our local routes.

So you watching that there Tour thingy, and at the end of next week they show you some profiles of the climbs they have to do. 10%, 15% pah, easy compared to the peaks check this out (click for bigger) the road route we did on Sat.

Yep some regular 15% hits and a few in the 20's, there was some serious grinding going on up them, ok they dont go on for Hours like the French classics, but they pretty damn killer to us swamp dwellers.
Led to some great speeds coming back down too.
So what did we learn during our ride then;
Graham can bounce off car bumpers and dosen't bruise easily.
Nige is one seriously fast descender.
Smiffy can hold a front wheel blow out at speed (respect).
Noddy has got some serious balls on wet roads with his back wheel hanging out when facing a wall.
Maps are so last century.
Sausage sandwiches at the Hope Cafe are ace.
Road bike brakes are Shit.

You have to turn your screen sideways.
Dave you plonker , don't turn the camera for videos.

Tomorrow Sunday is my last day of freedom before a monster work session takes hold and I lose three weekends and all will to live.

So after you all seemed to gain loads of brownie points over the Easter weekend is anyone up for a ride out somewhere, could be local or could involve vehicles, shame to waste this great weather either way.

So whos up for summit, ride out to destination, pub stop, big loop, road ride - road bikes, playaway day, anything, just get out and ride............................

This Tuesdays ride ---- THE PLAN just because I want to do the chase while its good.

Did a 100K loop which took in some good local tracks on Sunday, big fun and even bigger sunburn. ROUTE MAP which includes a bit of Rocko race watching in it. (open the links then re-click the maps to see them in there biggest sizes)

Bunch of you guys went to the Thetford races, BMBMBMBBCFNTBCC races or something, They thought it needed a catchy new title.  Results here for SAT XC where Mr Ring had a good ride that could have been a lot better if he hadnt crashed in the top 10.

The Trek marathon series saw heaps of plumz (and fenboys) out there in the 50K and 100K races. RESULTS HERE was very impressed with Toms ride, all those winter miles are doing you good.

HONC this weekend, which is in honour of the road race Classic called the Paris Roubaix which happens on the same weekend en France. The Hell of the North has been anything but in recent years, more dust than mud. Troy jumps in at the deep-end with his first bigone, will he survive.

It has been requested that this weeks its a road ride, so roll out them slicks and probably not wise to come on a singlespeed.

Better sort an interesting route out then.

loads of you have never been to Glentress, 6 people for 3 nights in Luxery accomadation see Bikelodge with loads of riding in the area. Works out at 16 quid per rider per night.
It could be travel up Friday, and return Monday afternoon.

5 definate names for one of the weekends it isnt booked on the site and we could do it.
